We are a privately owned family business, something we think is worth shouting about. It means we will never compromise on three simple principles; supplying premium quality artificial grass, delivering superior workmanship, and providing excellent customer service.
We are based in Brighton & Hove and London – our installation team covers the whole South East and we also provide a nationwide supply-only service to trade and domestic customers.
With over a decade of experience, much spent working directly for the UK’s largest artificial grass manufacturer, we genuinely understand our products and believe in offering bespoke advice to help you create beautiful spaces that are built to stand the test of time.
All the artificial grass products we recommend are manufactured in the UK or nearby Europe. This guarantees quality and keeps transportation miles low. We insist on visiting suppliers so we can be sure products are manufactured ethically, and as ‘greenly’ as possible.
We’re clearly very passionate about artificial grass and its many applications, but we understand it is still a relatively innovative concept, so seeing it (and feeling it) will be important to you. Ben Monk – Owner/Director
After studying Law, Ben changed his career path somewhat and has worked within the artificial grass industry for more than a decade.
Prior to establishing Blades, Ben was the national account manager at TigerTurf, the UK’s largest grass manufacturer. On the sports side he managed a variety of high-profile projects and clients including – UK sport’s governing bodies – the FA, RFU and LTA. Ben was also instrumental in bringing TigerTurf’s landscape products to market in later years.
Ben’s thorough and inside knowledge of all aspects of the manufacturing process has helped us lead the way with our product selection. These high standards guarantee our clients will always have access to the best artificial grasses on the market.

Jo Bradbury – Co-Director
Jo’s background is digital marketing and ecommerce, having worked for well-known websites and household consumer brands over the last 15 years.
This commercial experience helps to define and promote our values, and ensures we are constantly looking for ways to improve; from seeking out innovative new products, to refining our processes, but always making sure our customers are at the heart of every decision we make.
